Loggins, Alan Ralph
Alan Ralph Loggins died peacefully in Apache Junction, AZ, on Thursday June 18,2015 at the age of 64.
Al is survived by his wife, Helen (Geller) Loggins of Apache Junction, AZ; his children Jay (Kristi) Loggins, Michael (Beth) Loggins; his step-children Theresa Snider, Terri (Andrew) Moses, Chrissy Macias; his thirteen grandchildren: Bailey and Madison Reid; Tyler, Jenna, Tinley and Josie Loggins; Samantha and Sarah Snider; Isla and Madelyn Moses; Elisa, AJ and Brian Macias; and great grandson John Macias. His father, Alph Loggins; his siblings Jack (Wendy) Loggins and Susan (Michael) Kozup. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine (Loggins) Smith.
Al was born on February 25, 1951, in Chicago, IL to Alph and Elaine Loggins. He served in the United States Army Special Forces from 1970-1973. Al was a Journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 697. He was an active member/past Governor and Administrator of the Moose Lodge 2437 in Lowell, IN. After moving to Apache Junction, AZ, he became a member at the Elks Lodge 2349 serving as a trustee. He was a loving husband, father and grand-father. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loyal fan of 'da Bears. He loved his family and his cold beer.
A memorial is scheduled for 1:00 pm on June 27, 2015 at the Apache Junction Elks Lodge 2349, 2455 N Apache Trail, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. A memorial in his hometown of Lowell, IN, is scheduled for 1:00 pm on August 15, 2015 at the Lowell Moose Lodge 2437, 155 Mill Street, Lowell, IN 46356. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Al’s life. The family would like to thank Banner Hospice for their care and support during his last days.
