Ann Helen Poslosky




Ann was born in Marlin, Pennsylvania on July 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Stella (Podwapinska) and John Hujsak (Hoysock). She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Poslosky, Sr., on August 20, 2020. Ann and Charles were married on October 17, 1959, in Minersville, Pennsylvania, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 17, 2019.


Ann graduated from Pottsville High School, class of 1956. She was employed by Phillips Van Heusen, Pottsville, and Berks County Trust, Reading, Pennsylvania. In 1972 she became a Shaklee distributor which initiated many beloved friendships and created memorable opportunities to travel. Ann helped a lot of people with their Polish genealogy, and she indexed a ton of information for the Polish community. Her book, "Coincidence or Destiny - Our Heritage" was published in March 2010.


Ann had many talents and hobbies including being a seamstress, she loved needleworking, she loved to cook for her family, she enjoyed scratch-off tickets, going to the casino, and politics.


Ann is survived by her son, Charles A. Poslosky, Jr., her daughter, Evelyn A. Cagnetti, her grandson, Nick D. Cagnetti and her daughter, Annette Denham, wife of Keith Denham, all of Arizona. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was of the Catholic faith and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Ahwatukee, Arizona.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Victoria Pivnickas and her brothers, Walter, Andrew, Carl, Stanley and Michael.


Horizon Funeral Care of Mesa, Arizona has been entrusted with arrangements. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on August 6, 2024. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, Arizona.

Although l know not this beautiful lady,l am amazed at her beauty...her eyes sparkled of God's love and this photo of old is for her family a treasure I'm sure! May she RIP...blessings.
