Barbara Klapper

On March 18, 2021, Barbara Klapper, loving mother of five, grandmother of six and great grandmother of 12 passed away at the age of 85.

Barbara was born on April 24, 1935 in Cookeville, Tennessee to her parents Comer Webb and Perlie Webb Bennett. In 1954 Barbara married the love of her life, Earl Klapper. They raised two daughters, Linda and Lisa, and three sons, David, Michael and Raymond in Tennessee and Ohio before moving to Arizona.

Barbara valued family, living life to the fullest, and being a great host to others over almost everything else. Those events were often surrounded by her Cowboys games on Sunday afternoon with family, cookouts on the porch, bingo nights with friends and plenty of music.

She loved to cook, loved to smile, and it was infectious to everyone around her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father Comer, her mother Perlie, four siblings, her daughter Linda, son David, and grandson Travis. She is survived by six siblings, her daughter Lisa, sons Michael and Raymond, five grand children and 12 great grand children.

A remembrance family gathering will be planned at a later date when it is safe for everyone to gather.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice of Arizona for their caring and hard work during her final days.
