Garrick Ryan Burke

1973 – 2024

Adoring father, loving son, and brother.

Garrick Ryan Burke, 51, of Gilbert, AZ passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in his last moments.

Garrick's life story is a testament to the joy and love he brought to those around him. His journey from the Midwest to Arizona, his academic achievements, and his passion for sports and the outdoors paint a picture of a man who embraced life with enthusiasm.

Garrick went to Winona State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal science. His career in Collections and Sales & Marketing showcased his dedication and skill. Garrick loved the Green Bay Packers, golfing, and running. His passion for running was big which led him to run a few full marathons.

Garrick met the love of his life and mother of his children in 2008. Garrick and Lauran couldn’t wait to start a family together and were pleasantly surprised when finding out Lauran was pregnant with not one, not two, but three precious babies. Layla Addison, Jack Ryan, and Talan David were born within minutes/seconds of one another and took the Burke home by storm. Caring for triplets wasn’t easy but they made it look as if it was. They were surprised again just one week after the triplets turned ONE that they were expecting. Bronx Channing made their family complete.

The legacy of Garrick Ryan Burke lives on through the memories he created with his loved ones, the laughter he shared, and the lives he touched with his generosity and spirit. His story is one of triumph, love, and the enduring bonds of family.

Garrick is survived by Bill Burke (father), Peggy Burke (mother), Greg Burke (brother), and his 4 beautiful children Layla (daughter), Jack (son), Talan (son), and Bronx (son). Garrick is also survived by his former wife, and mother of his 4 children, Lauran Burke.
