Justin Sanders Dana

Justin Sanders Dana, age 41, passed away on July 4, 2024. He was born in Mesa, AZ at Mesa Lutheran Hospital on January 16th,1983 at 12:06 AM to Duane and Janis Dana. He was one of seven children. He had a joy for life and wasn't afraid to try new things. He attended Greenfield Elementary School, Greenfield Junior High, and Mesquite High School. During high school, he met Sabrena Stone whom he later married and had six amazing children with. Justin always had a niche for anything mechanical, which he would later use these skills to gain a head start in life. He worked at Berge Ford while attending high school. Throughout his life he continued to take his career to higher levels. He worked on some of the largest and most sophisticated equipment in several mines throughout the midwest. Justin pursued self employment, while working on his own path in the automotive and diesel world. At the time of his death, he continued to pursue his passion in heavy equipment. When Justin had free time, he enjoyed spending time with his kids, hunting, fishing, or spending time on the lake. If Justin was nowhere to be found, you would most likely find him at his smoker, smoking meats. This was a true passion of his; cooking and bringing a smile to people's faces through his food. He would always say, “the fastest way to make a person smile was through their stomach.” Justin is survived by his parents, Duane and Janis Dana, his brothers Chad Dana, Brad Dana, Brett Dana and Colton Dana, his sisters Tracy Robison and Kasey Larson, his children Cole Dana, McKenzie Dana, Kennedy Dana, Jake Dana, Diesel Dana and Derek Dana, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. followed by his funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 7145 E. Monterey Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85209. The burial site will be at the Mesa Cemetery located at 1212 N. Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201.
