MaryJane Jakubowski (Reitsma-Jerlinski) 1927-2024


MaryJane, 96, of Chandler Arizona died at home on July 19,2024. 

She was born in Hackensack, New Jersey to parents Frank V.and Jane (Jesse) Jerlinski.

She also resided in New Milford N.J, Clifton N.J, Oak Ridge TN before moving to Chandler AZ 14 years ago.


Fabulous memories of MaryJane remain in the hearts of those left behind. Son, Thomas F. Reitsma & wife Suzanne of Stafford Springs CT, Daughter Catherine M. Olexa & husband Patrick of Chandler AZ. Mary Jane has 4 Grandchildren- Joseph Petrocelli & wife Megan of Gainesville VA, Angela Petrocelli & husband Eric Leopper of Prescott Valley AZ, Ryan Reitsma & wife Emily of Shelby Township MI and Steven Reitsma & wife Sarah of Farmington CT. She also cherished her 6 Great Grandchildren- Madison, Brighton and Avery Petrocelli along with Ellie, Teddy and Bennett Reitsma, her late Son Mark’s wife Bonnie Reitsma of S.Windsor CT, many caring Nieces and Nephews and marvelous Friends.


She now joins in Heaven the rest of her family she has missed for many years. Son Mark Reitsma, Sisters Ann MacMaster & Doris Krech, Brother Frank V Jr and her Parents Frank V and Jane Jerlinski. MaryJane also joins her former husbands Edward Reitsma & Ted Jakubowski which she married each for 25 years of her life.


 *****  A Gravesite Service will be held on Saturday,September 7th,2024 at 10:30 am in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack New Jersey 07601.


In lieu of flowers, she would have loved that a donation be made to a charity of your choice in MaryJanes Memory.
