Pamela Ann Schall Grumpelt

Pamela passed away on September 19, 2024 in Chandler AZ. From a long illness at the age of 72. Born in New Haven, CT on April 23, 1952 from parents Charles Schall and Margaret (Peggy) Long. Pamela is survived by her husband Chuck of almost 52 years of marriage, a daughter Charlene, son Erik, 4 grand children, and 2 great-grandchildren. A sister Carol lives in Maine, and a brother Chuck living in CT.

Pamela was a long time resident of Chandler AZ. Since 1988, having moved here from Wallingford, CT. Pamela devoted her entire life’s work in the health care field, and one could say that is was truly her calling. We often thought that God must have put her here to take care of God’s sick people. To her patients she was like an angel and was always caring, loving, professional, and compassionate. She was the best at what she did!

Pamela was a high school graduate and class valedictorian at her graduation. She later went on to become a certified nursing assistant and patient care technician, having worked at St. Paplaels Hospital in New Haven, CT and almost 27 years at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

Pamela’s interests included camping, fishing, antiquing, interior decorating, and always giving loving care to her family. She was truly a devoted wife (no man could have asked for more), mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Pamela was a good, Irish Christian woman, and was always friendly, outgoing and had a beautiful smile. Her co-workers absolutely adored her, and relished her professionalism. Pamela always let you know what was on her mind, and one you knew could always expect the truth from her, for she told it as she saw it, never holding back! Pamela was a true American patriot, and was always very proud of that fact.

We can honestly say that Heaven has gained a most beautiful and wonderful new resident, and we are all happy for her as she walks along the streets of glory! However, here at home we are all saddened from her loss. Pamela will always live on in our hearts, minds, and souls. May Gods love and peace comfort her, and bless her always and Forever! I will always love you forever and ever my Darling Lepe!
